Keith Greenwood Awards
In 1998, Keith Greenwood decided it was time to establish football for children of all ages in Falmouth, Maine. Keith spent countless hours providing information to parents, the town and school administrators, spending much of his spare time making sure that football was available to anyone that wanted to play. Keith created the Falmouth Football Boosters and played an extremely important role as its President for many years.
Despite many roadblocks along the way, the program started with 24 players in its first year. For 2016, we estimate to have over 50 players in the High School program. We are forever grateful to the hard work and dedication of Keith.
This award is presented each year to a high school player who demonstrates good sportsmanship, exhibits a positive attitude both on/off the field, and unconditionally supports his teammates and the coaching staff. This player seldom receives public recognition but is a very important member of the team. Past winners include:
